The Flightmed mailing list was started in 1995 to provide an area for all air medical professionals to exchange information on any topic related to air medical care. We invite all flight nurses, flight paramedics, pilots, communication specialists, physicians, and others involved in air medical care to participate.
Here are some general guidelines on using the list:
To send a message to all the people currently subscribed to this list, just
send mail to:
FLIGHTMED@FLIGHTWEB.COM
This is called "sending mail to the list". Because you send mail to a single address and LISTSERV makes copies for all the people who have subscribed. This address (FLIGHTMED@FLIGHTWEB.COM) is also called the "list address". You must never try to send any command to that address, as it would be distributed to all the people who have subscribed.
As a courtesy, many posters sign messages with their real names, flight program affiliation, and email address so we all know who were are talking to. If for any reason we receive any messages back notifying us that your address is bad or unknown, you will automatically be taken off of the list without notification.
Any questions or problems related to Flightmed should be addressed to Alan Dobrowolski (list coordinator) at aland1@mac.com.
