Airlink Outreach Coordinator
New Hanover Regional Medical Center’s Airlink critical care transport service is seeking an Airlink Outreach Coordinator to support strategic planning and marketing activities to cultivate new and existing business.
Ø Establishes relationships with health-care facilities and emergency service agencies to ensure a coordinated and efficient response to service requests.
Ø Monitors and quantifies data to establish business positioning and realignment activities.
Ø Regularly performs the patient care duties of a Paramedic or Registered Nurse providing care for all patient populations.
Ø Participates as a member of Critical Care Transport’s leadership team to promote a successful operation.
Ø Plans and coordinates referral partner/customer visits, LZ safety lectures and special events. Works to improve the delivery of care to patients.
Ø Helps to establish a quality image for NHRMC and Critical Care Transport.
Education: Successful completion of a recognized EMT-Paramedic training program OR graduate from an accredited school of Nursing. Preferred: college degree in business, communications, marketing and/or related field.
Licensure / Certifications: Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of North Carolina OR NC Paramedic Certification. BLS/CPR, ACLS, and PALS certification (instructor level preferred). ITLS and NRP required within 6 months of hire (instructor level preferred). Current and valid North Carolina Class C operator’s license. Must meet general hospital driving requirements. EVO is required to drive during emergency situations. Specialty certification(s) preferred: CFRN, CEN, CCRN, CCEMPT-P or FP-C.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in emergency services or critical care, including at least 1 year in transport environment.
Ø Southeastern North Carolina's first air ambulance service
Ø Serves seven counties in Southeastern NC
Ø Helps with missing person search missions, landing zone classes for fire and EMS agencies and public relations events
Ø In November, 2005, AirLink was honored with the Air Medical Safety Award in recognition of 2,000 accident-free medical missions
