    FlightWeb is dedicated to Air Medical Professionals around the world. This includes EMS Pilots, Flight Nurses, Flight Medics, Flight RTs, Flight MDs, Comm Specs, Maintenance, Administration, and all others involved in the air medical tranport industry. The primary goal of the site is to provide timely news, information, and resources. In addition, communications between the various specialties are facilitated by hosting forums such the Flightmed mailing list.

    Three Killed in UW Med Flight crash
    On May 10, 2008, three University of Wisconsin Med Flight helicopter crew members were killed in a helicopter crash near La Crosse, WI. The helicopter was carrying Dr. Darren Bean, the flight physician, Mark Coyne, a registerd nurse, and the pilot, Steve Lipperer,
