Just wondering, with different team configurations, who is the leader on your Pediatric Transports? Is it always the same role or do people rotate? Sometime medic, sometimes nurse..etc.

Adult and Pediatric calls were no different.  We rotated every call, whoever was in the left seat took care of the patient, right seat took report and did the charting.  Everyone was required to do PICU rotations every year as well.    NICU is a different story, they had their own nurses and RT's.   I personally don't feel a pediatric specialty team is necessary unless you are talking pediatric ECMO or something along those lines.
