Lasers Incidents

With close to 4000 reports last year, laser incidents are becoming more common.  Plus, a federal law was passed in 2012 that made laser pointing at an aircraft punishable with a prison sentence of several years.

This link is an overview of a "trial" program that the FAA is involved with, along with the support of the FBI and the Airline Pilots Association.

This link has information on how to report an incident, by crew members and/or the public.....

However, follow your program/companies guidelines/SOP/SOG or whatever steps that needs to be taken for incident reporting.
