I am in the process of developing a comprehensive quality management program for the combined air/ground CCT transport program I work with. Among other items, pieces of the program include QA and CQI. What do other programs use for determining QA benchmarks in care? Besides ACLS/PALS/NRP/ATLS guidelines, what standards are used to compare your program with others?

For programs who utilize computer charting, are there still peer reviews? Most computer programs allow for electronic QA for interventions and skills, how do you combine these with the human eye view?

Thanks
