Our Communications Center is trying to update their orientation manual for new hires. We're trying to move to competency based training and don't want to reinvent the wheel. Is anyone willing to share what forms your program(s) use to validate competency in new hires. The competencies will be required to be successfully completed for a new hire to get off of orientation.
We use Flight Vector as our dispatch software in conjunction with the Air Methods online flight log and DeLorme mapping software.

I have a list of topics that need to be covered in training and a list of practical things that must be performed before they are released to IOE. I've considered making more of a National Registry style skill sheet though. Is that what you are looking for?
