Any CCT programs do intercepts in the field for pts requiring speciality services.
With a team composition, do you bypass and transfer to the appropriate.
Thank you

We provide intercepts with BLS ambulances transporting to any of our tertiary care hospitals. Our composition CCEMT-P and RN is the same as our critical care staffing. Thus, they keep all the same skills and procedures. We have done intercepts with ALS/ILS transports when patients deteriorate, but try to eliminate that by going to the further away facilites to get those patients. The only bypassing we do is to a trauma center when indicated.
