On Tuesday, July 13, a Spartanburg Regional One (Spartanburg, SC) helicopter crashed during a patient transport. The pilot, flight nurse, flight paramedic, and patient were killed. The Spartanburg Regional One Bell 407 reportedly crashed near Jalapa, SC shortly after a radio position report near Those on board included pilot Bob Giard, 41, flight nurse Glenda Tessnear, 38, and paramedic David Bacon, Junior, 31 and a patient. All four were kiled.
