Virginia LifeEvac II Helicopter Crash Kills 2

On Monday, Jan 10, 2005, Life Evac II (Stafford, VA) pilot Joseph E. Schaefer and flight paramedic Nicole Kielar were killed and flight nurse Jonathan Godfrey was injured when their EC 135 helicopter crashed into the Patomac River near Washington, DC shortly after 11pm.
