Synthetics will burn on top of the NOMEX and the heat will transfer to your
body, thus, defeating the heat resistant properties of the NOMEX.

The Army has done extensive ALSE research. Suggest contacting Joe Licina at
U.S. Army Aeromedical Research Laboratory located at Ft. Rucker, AL
