RE: downtime



Our flight team is the difficult IV team for the hospital.  We get called to
start IV's when others have failed.  We also assist in the ED when it is
busy.  We intubate patients in the ED as well.  Some of us also visit our
NICU and assist when we can.  I find it a nice learning tool and it keeps
our skills up somewhat.
