ER 11/20
I have been following the discussion of this episode, I to, had a
brief discussion with my wife following it. Thankfully my small children
were in bed, and I didn't have to explain it too them. Aeromedical
safety is all of our responsibility, It doesn't matter if you are
RN,EMTP,ATP, or A&P mechanic. WE have to always have safety at the
forefront of our brains everyday as we come on duty, and as we turn the
keys over to our relief that follows.
What happened on TV was not so much Hollywood , as some would like to
hope. Remember our departed friends in Cleveland. It's not necessarily
tragic to lose your life doing what you love. I'm sure the majority of
folks showed up for duty on 11/21, Lets all just hope to keep those
loses to a minimum.
Sincerely; Dan Ceresa EMTP FlightMedic
P.S. At least it landed on Dr. Romano. Fly Safe!!
