air medical helicopters in a disaster situation
Hello colleagues,
Does anyone know of an article or resource document that discusses the use of airmedical helicopters in a major disaster/mass casualty situation?
Or what is your current policy/procedure/protocol for response to a major disaster/mass casuatly? For example, if your service is requested do you function as just another transport vehicle per se or would the crew be involved with triage, etc. at the scene?
Your input would be helpful - as always - thanks for sharing!
