The best stats (really the only ones) for helicopter transport can be found in the Safety Report that was published by AMPA last year. If you get the Air Medical Journal, you should have received a copy with last January's mailing. You can also download the entire pdf copy of the report either from the AMPA website (AMPA.org) or from the flightweb website.
Flightweb's Air Medical Transport Registry will also be a good source for program information, but will not tell you transport volume or industry changes in the past 10 years.
