Re: Articles Supporting Air Medical Transport
If you're looking to make a valid argument supporting Air Transport to
someone who does not belive in it, I'd suggest staying away from anything
printed in Air Medical Journal. While I enjoy the literature they print, we
must admit there is a bias, and therefore the data presented is suspect
(Please... I mean no offense to my colleagues at AMJ, but the immediate
argument from the opponents of air transport would be "Of course that
journal publishes supporting data... they've got an agenda.")
My suggestions, assuming you've already done a PubMed/MedLine search
(keywords:
Flight, Helicopter, Air Medical, and Prehosptial,) would be:

Subject: Articles Supporting Air Medical Transport
Date: Tue, 21 Oct 2003 09:56:34 EDT
Hi All,
I am trying to find valid journal articles that support the use of air
medical transport (fixed wing and rotor wing). If any one knows of an
article,
please email me back off the Archive.
Thanks,
