Hi, 
Interesting that this question has come up. We have one person up front with 
the pilot and the second in the back to open sliding door when the pilot gives 
the ok. Pretty much the same precautions as everyone else has listed (eye 
shields down, belts checked, all loose items secured etc). We have just recently 
had crew members question which side would be better to sit on and open the 
doors in the back. 
Thoughts anyone?
