Vents
We have 10 the LTV 1000's in service. Initially the battery was a problem but we are now carrying the small 110 v. inverter that plugs into either the cavatron plug or cigarette lighter in the ambulances. This has taken care of our problem when there is a few hours of road transport to the airport etc. We have overcome the size problem by having Ferno construct special trays that attach to our transport stretchers. The tray holds the LTV, Propaq and two minimed pumps. As an aside, a large number of our smaller community hospitals have gone to the LTV as well as a number of ER's.
