Re: ventilators



We are currently using the Drager Oxylog 2000.  It's very easy to use, light weight, and durable.  
Problems we have are; it's volume control only, FiO2 is 60% or 100% only.  No Pressure support capability.
Most patients we transfer are fresh tubes without longterm vent problems so volume control is OK for a short flight.  Where we run into problems is on the longterm ICU ventilated patient that is being transfered.  Those ARDS cases, etc.  require more advanced settings.
