Re: CFRN

Michael,

I am taking the test in November.  ASTNA has a new review book with questions.  I just ordered mine last Wednesday.  They are hot off the press!  Go to www.astna.org. It costs about $21.00 (ASTNA members), and maybe a little more for non-members.  You may find Transport Nursing: Practice and Principles at Amazon if they don't have it at ASTNA.  Hope I didn't tell you something you didn't already know.

I am taking the CFRN as an independent study course for the completion
of my BSN and I was wondering if anyone has any pointers for studying
for the exam. I have looked for review courses in my area (North Texas)
and I am not able to find one. I am currently using a book from Jen
Harris to study. I have been trying to get a copy of the core
curriculum and I am unable to locate a copy, seems everyone is sold out.

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
