Dear Loyd,

I wanted to let you know that I will be teaching the ASTNA sponsored pre-conference "Fetal Assesssment and Surveillance Workshop" at the AAMS convention in Reno, NV on Sunday November 2, 2003.

This class will provide a basic introduction into the evaluation of fetal status.  While we will be learning to interpret fetal monitor tracings, I will not be covering specific "brands" of fetal monitors that may be useful during transport as there are a few on the market.

If you would like for me to share information on monitor brands with you, please contact me off the list.

Please also consider attending the ASTNA Maternal SIG (special interest group) dessert on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 from 1630 - 1730.  We will have a networking meeting involving people with all levels of experience transporting maternal patients.  Please join us!
