RE: OB Transport Protocols

Title: Message
What type(s) of Tocometers are you using as well as other programs that use Tocometers?  I have been looking at Toitu MT-325 monitor.  Any info will be much appreciated!

Up until a few months ago, we used a doppler and checked the FH q15 min. Now we use a fetal monitor while transporting Obs patients. All the Obs transport nurses have taken the AWHONN Fetal Heart Monitoring course as well as having at least 3 years experience working in high risk obstetrics.

I would like to find out if any programs that have generic flight teams routinely use fetal monitors during transport and if so what training and competency they utilize.

Thanks,
