Re: landing site question
You may want to consider how your State Dept. of Transportation views how
many times per month/year flight operations are conducted to and from a
non-certified area. Recently, in one of the states we operate in, the State
DOT has come down on hospitals conducting flight ops in and out of parking
lots, fields, etc. Also have advised programs that this practice is being
monitored. Sooner or later, hospitals will have to spend the time and money
to install a FAA & State DOT approved helistop.
Good luck, fly safe.
