Unfortunately, this type of
exchange arises about 2-3 times per year on this forum. Usually, either
RN vs. Paramedic, or Paramedic vs. RT.
Although the original post of NO
didn't interest me in the slightest, the firestorm that it caused is "too
funny."
I have to go with my paramedic
brothers and sisters that took offense to the RT's tone. Anytime we are
belittled in that fashion, and let's be honest, it was very belittling
and didn't have a hint of education to it, we will respond in
kind.

E-mails can be too funny
Especially when you understand more than his
written
I
can only understand and share the outrage of RTs
At
hearing that paramedics should have NO in their
pharmacopia
A
bit of emphasis in the text is cool
If
you are new on the list
You
will understand and know to recognize
The
limitations of E-mail
In
what you are (not) actually able to acurately express the first
time
And
what you may understand... even if it's not written or
meant
I suspect this subject will
lose it's momentum in the next day or two. It would lost it's momentum
even faster if the offending RT would perhaps apologize. I believe his
arrogance will prevent that, sadly.
[Brault,
Charles]
He already has
apologized
And he need not
apologized for strongly expressing is concern
Of
Medics using NO independently
The
rest you can chalk it up has style
No matter how much you may read into our
E-Mails
Most of us do not take ourselves
seriously
And
that is just very well
Otherwise
This discussion will have served for some
At
clearing the all too common Nitric Oxide - Nitrous Oxide
confusion
