RE: acute coronary syndrome



Our flight guidelines follow current ACLS guidelines for ACS and AMI.  WE jsut look at what has been done upon our arrival and go from there.  We pretty much use Lopressor 5mg Q 5 min X 3 doses as long as the MI patient has a rate and pressure to tolerate it.  Check with the AHA for guidelines.

Question....have you allencountered the same thing I have with Chestpain/acute MI patients?

Every referring does it a different way.

Does anyone out there have a standardized protocol for acute corornary syndrome/ Acute MI?


Also looking for indications for Lopressor use
