When I was an MICN in California, we were governed by the ICEMA region (Inland Counties Emergency Medical Authority). They had a termination of resuscititation protocol back then (1980's). When I wrote my P&Ps for a new program in early 1990's for Sierra LifeFlight out of Bishop, Ca, I adapted that termination of resuscitation policy for the flight program. I do not know if it is still a part of their policies, however, since I have moved on.
