Re: Survival Training




You plan and objectives sound pretty good.  You 
obviously want to add a good deal of realism and
self-suffciency to the exercise, which is great.

Do your crew routinely fly with survival kits on
their person?  As the saying goes, if it's not
on you when you leave, you won't have it.  You 
can alway take it to the extreme and allow crews
to only use what they have on their person.  They'll
have a radio in the event they have to call 
"King's X".

I would also suggest including an objective that 
includes signalling (i.e. ground to air signals,
use of smoke/ flares, signal mirrors, strobe lights,
etc.)
