SALT LAKE CITY
(AP) -- A LifeFlight helicopter crashed Friday night near Big
Cottonwood Canyon, sheriff's spokesman Peggy Faulkner said.
No details were immediately available about injuries or the cause of
the crash.
Officials were expected to release more details later in the
evening.
The helicopter was one of two remaining LifeFlight helicopters
operated out of LDS hospital. A third helicopter crashed, killing two,
in January.
