RE: (no subject)

we're on Fire Call 27/7/365, but since we have a low volume of fire calls (3-5 per month), thats no big deal.

EMS is 27/7 one week every fifth week.

Flight Call is 24 on primary, 24 on backup. that lasts 14 to 21 days, (depending on vacation schedules, etc)then a week off of the rotation. we live in a small town so we don't stay at our hanger; we're allowed to go home and sleep / whatever, as long as we answer the radio when called

hope you find this helpful!

A question for Fire-Rescue and EMS operated aeromedical programs, does your
agency require a rotation from your base site back onto a rescue or engine
company for a set amount of time each year? If so, please e-mail me with the
specifics on how your agency accomplishes this and if this rotation was done
to accomplish a set of objectives, was it successful?
