       I REALLY HATE THESE THREADS.  They do nothing but berate other professions.  This one started berating RN's, got off that and now are berating LPN's.  The problem is that somewhere, someone is content doing their job.  Many people have put extreme time, love and commitment to their professions.  In my 18 years, I have seen many of all, nurses, medics and physicians not worth a shit.  I have seen techs and LPN's that I trusted more than anyone because of their dedication.  Some nurses would be great in the field, many not, but just as many medics could not cut it in an ICU trying to run ECMO with a pt on APRV.  There is much more to nursing than being able to work in an ER.
