First, is English Composition not a pre-requesite for a degree in Microbiology?  I believe you grossly over-estimate what a flight nurse actually makes for the hours of work, continuing education, and travel time spent.  Hospital nurses make a great deal more, have less responsibilities, and better benefits with a physician to run ideas for ailment resolution.
