EMT-P to RN Bridge Question

Sorry for this being crossposted...

I had a long discussion tonight with the president of a prestigious private SF Bay Area college that has both BSN and PA programs. I brought up the subject of an EMT-P to RN bridge course. She was concerned about the cost of the school implementing the necessary competency testing and investigating. She initially did not feel that there would be enough of a demand for such a course to justify these costs. So I am opening this up to the groups, looking for feedback... as I feel that there would be a huge demand for such a program were there one available. Is there? Would you apply and move here for such a program? Is there any others out there (besides Regents College)?

Thanks for your input, it will be put to good use with this school!
