   Descriptions: To provide advanced pre-hospital emergency care
and transportation in accordance with the protocols, policies and
procedures of the Cayman Islands Emergency Service (EMS). In
addition, will be required to provide routine transport to and from
Hospital facilities. The post holder will act as a role model for
junior EMS staff and oversee daily activities where necessary.

Qualifications: Successful candidate will have at least three years current 
EMS experience and have Paramedic licensure with National Registry of 
Emergency Medical Technicians, State Registry at EMT-P level or UK registry 
with IHCD. Advanced Trauma Life/Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, ACLS and 
PALS support training and certifications are essential. Certification as an 
Instructor for BLS, ACLS, PALS would be advantageous.

Salary Range: CI$28,968-CI$36,168 per annum (US$1.00 = CI$0.84)

An appointment to a full time position is for an initial two-year contract 
with the option to seek renewal. Benefits include medical, dental, air 
passage, baggage allowances, and a Pension Scheme. There is no direct 
taxation of Salary in the Cayman Islands.

The Cayman Islands are a British Overseas Territory, with a population of 
approximately 40,000, located about 450 miles south of Florida.
