Hospital Heliport Design & Construction
Hospital heliport construction and design is governed jointly by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the Department of Transportation (DOT).
The current guide is Advisory Circular (A/C) 150/5390-2A "Heliport Design". It can be found by going to the FAA's web site for advisory circulars, http://www.faa.gov/arp/150acs.htm and looking for the number 5390-2A.
The information is in a .pdf format and can be downloaded to a PC using Adobe Acrobat, which is a free download available at www.adobe.com.
Here is a web page with additional links that may help you out. http://www.clarian.org/referring/md_et_lifeline_links.jhtml

Hello Flightweb:
I need some help in finding specifications to build a helipad for the local hospital. Can someone guide me to an area on the web with the complete specifications. Feel free to email at Dseng1@cox.net
Thanks
