RE: Rescue missions
Evette,
Go to www.nhtsa.dot.gov for general info and lots of great data.
http://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/pdf/nrd-30/NCSA/Rpts/2002/Assess01.pdf
this link will give a summary of the Traffic Safety Facts 2001 -
http://www-nrd.nhtsa.dot.gov/pdf/nrd-30/NCSA/TSFAnn/TSF2001.pdf
This is the latest data in a report format.
Just be aware, Big statistical data reports are usually a year to a year and 1/2 behind the last date due to data collection and interpretation volumes.
I received the report in booklet form the other day, just reprinted from NHTSA.
If you wish, I can snail-mail it to you.
Keep at it!

Subject: Rescue missions
What I would like to know is if many of these
accidents involve young adults or teenages under the age of 21 and if so, if
many are alcohol related?
