Rescue missions

Hi all,
My name is Evette Hernandez and I am a 3rd year nursing student at the 
University at Buffalo. I have been on the list several weeks now and have 
been keeping up with what is going on the list. Before joining the list I 
did not know much about flight nursing but have found it to be very 
interesting.
As an assignment for class, we were told to post a question to a nursing 
list serve of our choice. After doing some additional research about flight 
nursing I became aware that many of the rescue missions involve people 
involved in car accidents. What I would like to know is if many of these 
accidents involve young adults or teenages under the age of 21 and if so, if 
many are alcohol related? I would really appreciate any input on this. Thank
