Re: Trauma courses
AeroCare Paramedics are required to have BTLS or PHTLS as well as
audit ATLS at least every 5 years. (We allow 5 years because we have
a mandatory cadaver lab skills refresher every 6 mos.) RN's are
required to have TNCC and TNATC w/i 1 year of hire (we teach the
TNATC in house). Most of our medics audit TNATC as well as TNCC
eventually.
