I see your point. I will continue to provide updates as our program endures this change. Not only did over 50% of our nursing staff get "reassigned" to jobs within the hospital, but 3 of our pilots were "let go". They are the real casualties of this cut. They had to find new jobs........one even left CA for Texas. I have said this before on Flightweb......our pilots are wonderful, professional, competent, safe and well trained aviators!! I fully support their efforts to obtain fair pay and make vendors follow state and federal overtime laws. They are our personal heros!!!! I hope they can get what they deserve and help set a model for change in the industry. Also realize, their decision to get compensation for over time is in no way connected to the decision by the University to cut an aircraft. It's two completely different "situations".
