Re: Air Medical Protocols

Title: Air Medical Protocols
Nancy,
I'll forward this to Ruby, our Clinical Manager to see if she can send ours to you.
Re ATB:  there is an article written on the FL chapter (who is also celebrating their 10 year anniversary this year); Nancy Hunter is the author--if you have enough copy for April; it might be good for July to feature their chapter as it has been quite successful.
Hope all is well!!

Subject: Air Medical Protocols

We are starting a new air medical helicopter service in Santa Fe, NM.  At the present time we are working on our protocols.  If anyone would like to share their protocols with us we would greatly appreciate that.  I realize for many people this is quite territorial and that is fine, but we also ask, why reinvent the wheel?  The information is out there and we just want to put together the best.  Our Medical Director is wanting to evaluate ours compared to everyone else's, plus get ideas from programs that have been in service for a long time.  If you can share this with us, please forward an electronic copy to my address at flightrn@aol.com.  We will certainly be glad to reciprocate and send you our final ones.

Thanks for your time and for even considering helping us as we start up.  We will be serving Northern New Mexico where a very large portion of the state is completely uncovered.  Everyone is excited about this service and looks forward to late spring when we will get started.
