Like everyone else has stated, we use Etomidate for RSI and have had similar effects. Even though the hemodynamic effect is minimal, our protocol is to half the dose of Etomidate in the setting of shock/hypotension. We have no restrictions on age. Overall, we've had great success with Etomidate in the Charlotte area.
