It will take more than a chapter to give search and rescue the justice it deserves. There are entire text books devoted to the subject. Search Theory, Lost Person Behavior, Probability of Area, Probability of Detection, Search Tactics and Patterns and Aerial Observation are only some of the subtopics that need to be covered and that's just search, rescue is a whole other topic. If readers only get a chapter on SAR they will think they know it, when they have only scratched the surface.
