Hello
CHotFly,
Not a
fun place to be - in the back of an aircraft with little confidence in the pilot
at the controls. Without knowing any details it's very hard to give you a proper
course of action, but looking for an outside agency or organization to intervene
may not be the best way to handle the situation. I have found the
of lack of communication or mis-communication to be the major
source of conflict in our industry between the front and back
seats.
I have
a few questions for you:
Is CRM
taught/practiced at your program?
Have
you spoken TO the pilot?
Have
you asked another pilot to speak to him/her?
Have
you spoken to the lead pilot?

Could I find out what how organizations deal and what their policies are
pertaining to Pilots that medical crews feel unsafe flying with? E-mail me at
CHoltfly@aol.com if you need more specifics as to how your organization might
deal with our particular situation. Thanks.
