that sounds like a hemaglobin A1C to me, which is expressed as a percentage. 10.1% would represent poor control. normal would be between 6 and 7%

Thanks for the story, Ken. Is 3.1 glucose the equivalent of 31 mg/dl?
I had a diabetic lady from Europe as a patient recently and she said her BG
tested at "10.2" which she said was a normal range... I'm pretty sure it's
a standard in the states to express it as mg/dl - perhaps that's different
in Canada and Europe?
