following guidelines were established in determining the patient's
chances of survival.

0-5 points......30%
5-12 points......60%
Greater than 12 points..95%

	100-299....................2 points
	300-more...................4 points

Injured while riding motorcycle
	With helmet..................1 point	
	Without helmet.................2 points

Arrives wearing biker t-shirt..............1 point

Patient coming from or going to jail...........4 points
Spouse in jail....................1 point

Arrives via air ambulance between 1 am-5 am........1 point

Known by at least five persons in the ED.........1 point

Tattoo.......................1 point each 
(Maximum 5 points)
	If homemade.................1 extra point

Last bath more than two weeks ago............1 point

Forty pounds or more overweight............1 point

"Bad Back" and must be lifted by staff for all x-rays.....1 point

Beard longer than 2 inches...............1 point

Known seizure disorder secondary to previous trauma,
but doesn't know name of medications 
that he/she is taking...............2 points

Routinely "vomicks" two or more times a week.......1 point

Has two children with the same first name.........1 point
Number of living children - n..............3 points
Number of abortions.................1 point each
