Re: drug boxes

We are looking at changing our current drug bag. Does anyone out there use
a Pelican box or similar system?

We got ours from Cabelas Sporting Goods.  It is a heavy duty fabric tackle box with a hard plastic bottom.  Has a main compartment, and 3 smaller compartments.  The main compartment holds 6 plastic trays, which we labeled; Adult Diabetes/OD/Poisoning/Unc-Unk, Pediatric Diabetes/Poisoning/Unc-Unk, Allergies/Anaphylaxis/Asthma/Croup, Seizures/nausea, Cardiac Arrest, and Cardiac Dysrhythmias.  The small compartments hold bags of NS, Dopamine, Lidocaine, and Mannitol. Just grab the tray(s) you need and leave the rest in the aircraft.  The solid bottom keeps those drug spills contained.  Works well for us.
