Pediatric Transport Development

I am currently working on development of a ground Pediatric
Critical Care Transport. Crew configuration will be RN / RT using
existing resources from our Women & Children’s Hospital. The
hospital does currently have a vendor rotor program with RN / EMT-
P configuration which augments the crew with a Neonatal RN for
Neonate transfers. I would like to speak with those of you who
have been involved with a similar system and what items worked
well during development of the ground component. Also would like
to discuss if you integrated the ground and air aspect or kept
separate, protocols, and if your hospital purchased a transport unit
or contracted with a local ground provider. Thanks in advance,
direct E-mail is kwall@hhsys.org
