Calstar to comply with California labor codes

Another Domino falls! Starting January 5th Calstar will change their 
pilots’ schedules and salary to comply with California state labor 
codes. Obviously, there will be many issues to resolve for both sides 
in this unfolding endeavor. The important part is that whatever their 
misgivings, Calstar will now follow the labor codes that have governed 
our industry for a number of years.

Credit should be given to the Calstar CEO for trying to approximate the 
existing pilot schedule, unlike the hoops that CJ is forcing the Davis 
pilots through. Now, Reach and Henry 1, Mercy Air, Air Methods, Enloe, 
Mediflight and others throughout the United States, when will you do 
the right thing?
