prn Nurse position available



Scott & White Pre-Hospital Services is now accepting applications for a prn Air & Surface Transport Nurse.  We plan to administer testing and interviews on or about the week of January 13, 2003.

Qualifications include:
    Texas licensed RN and Paramedic
    Two years full-time experience as a nurse in a critical care hospital setting (ICU, CCU, ED) or in critical care transport (air or ground), or any combination of the above experience totaling two years or more.
    Strong verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills.
    Ability to multi-task critical functions.
    Excellent customer service skills.
    Basic computer skills.
    The usual merit badges (-TLS, ACLS, Pedi, TNCC, etc.)

The successful candidate will also need to pass a physical, including height/weight restrictions.

The prn ASTN will work both air and ground critical care transport functions.

Scott & White STAT Air/Care operates two (2) full-time helicopters and two (2) full-time ground critical care transport trucks.  ASTN's are partnered with Critical Care Paramedics on both the helicopter and CCT truck.
