RE: Aeromedical Prisoner Transport
While I understand the safety concerns, and I aplaud those who take steps to
address these concerns, I offer this:
There are few things in this world that are totally useless...
1) Airspace above you.
2) Fuel in the fuel truck.
3) Runway behind you.
4) An unloaded firearm.
If you ask a law enforcement officer to unload his/her weapon, you might as
well ask him/her to leave the weapon on the ground. It's worthless
otherwise.
Cops are trained to carry and handle firearms safely. Allow them to do it.
