Aeromedical Prisoner Transport

Our program transports patients who are in the custody of law
enforcement.  We have a written policy in our operations manual.  The
prisoner is required to be appropriately restrained (handcuffs, patient
restraints).  Sometimes their injuries do not require them to be
restrained more than the belts used to secure them to the stretcher.
The law enforcement officer rides upfront with their weapon.
